I just discoverd the gedcom format button on the eadit-places dialog. I
choose what seems logical for me in the Netherlands:
"plaats,gemeente,provincie,land". That doesn't match the listed fields.
Are these fields matching what is returned by ws.geonames.org? We don't have
an INSEE code and our zip-codes are a part of a street, or even part of a
sky scraper, so the increasing jurisdiction would require it to precede
"plaats", if it belong to jurisdictions at all. IMHO it is rather part of an
address in the Dutch case, though you may consider the digits of the
zip-code to be a jurisdiction.
Don't we need a mechanism to match the format component to the edit fields?
