Dear Adroiders, Does anyone have any idea what Windows System services are needed in order to get the Emulator to run. I have shut down a lot of services on my Windows XP laptop in order to conserve resources and to reduce hacking, hijacking possibilities. Unfortunately, I have done a search for this through the Android web site and it has been fruitless. Therefore, can I ask, what services should Windows XP be running in order for the Android Emulator to work properly?
At the present moment, when I click on the emulator exe, the application shuts down immediately, as with all other exe's within the "tools" directory.
