I have the same problem, don't know how to fix it but I'll get back to
you if I do.  Wanted to add I follow up.  I have a 2 minute lag
between starting an activity and the emulator starting.  15 minutes
later, the emulator starts to act more like a phone.  Pretty
background, menus, good stuff.  Anyone know if this is normal?  I'm
running Eclipse 3.4 on Windows XP, 2.4 GHz, 248 Meg RAM.
