As s human being I would rather spend my time evolving in new ways intectually, than spend my time thrashing through an IDE (Eclipse) that effectively does the same thing as another IDE (Visual Studio) that I'm already intimately familiar with. I would much prefer to wrap my cortex around learning and exploring the potentials offered by delivering business solutions deployed on a new platform.
As a developer I want to spend my writing code ... not twiddling with an IDE to get it to work in a manner that I'm comfortable with. I certainly don't want to spend time downloading and installing things like IDEs that have nothing to do with the actually exciting part of developing an application. I certainly don't see any issues with asking if someone who enjoys twiddling with IDEs, creating make files, etc if they would be inclined to publish some guidelines on the usage of Visual Studio as a platform for developing Andriod applications. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Android Beginners" group.
