Muthu, I appreciate your overwhelming enthusiasm, but let's not get ahead of ourselves again. The judges are due to submit their scores on Wed May 7th. If the judges are like us, they will be at the deadline, or perhaps even late.
Then, as Dan mentioned, they need to send the presumptive winners to their legal department, which will probably go has follows: Senior lawyer/partner takes list, gives work to associate, associate gives most of work to paralegal, paralegal does work, gives work back to associate, associate reviews, partner rubber stamps, partner takes his time giving thumbs up. Maybe it isn't that involved, but I doubt it can be done in one evening. I think later in the week or the weekend is much more likely. Here is Dan's original post FYI Actually, if I recall correctly the judges are due to have their scores on the 100 back to us by Wednesday. Then we have to tabulate the scores, and I think the legal department has to finish their eligibility review (to make sure no submitters are known terrorists, and that sort of thing. ;) So I don't think we'll be able to announce anything before Wednesday.
