"Applications in service of global economic development for the 3 billion people living on less than $2.00 per day" http://code.google.com/android/adc_faq.html#kinds I have to say, I never understood this particular phrase of the competition suggestions: Those poor people will never ever see an Android phone. How could it help them? On the contrary, I find this particular statement a rather tasteless attempt to salve the conscience of those who have the money to buy an Android phone.... Or do I understand the statement wrongly? Some example how this could be meant or implemented could help to clarify this. How do other people understand this statement?
