Hi, Thanks for putting this forward. One question our team is having, based on limited resources, is: In what context are the judges going to view the products? Much of our application does not require GPS, or a 320 x 480 screen, specifically with the idea of keeping handset cost low. But we are a bit conerned that a useful application that helps people in less developed countries become more effecient and manage resouces better may get lost in sea of products with impressive use of graphics. The context for evaluation for most judges is modern society, maybe even cutting edge modern society.
We have some marketing material that sort of references The Grapes of Wrath as a picture of economic refugees that judges may understand... but we don't know how well it connects to actual judges... or even how we include in our application. We are driving for a ubiquitous audio device to create a large enough population of devices to recognize and share network benefits. Is there a way to identify an entry as specifically targeted toward folks who can't spend $33 on a big screen?
