I haven't tried that but it seems to be directly written for Android, which is good.. Then there is my port of libsvg.. libsvg-android. https://launchpad.net/libsvg-android I only ported libsvg-android since I couldn't find anything when I started (svg4mobile was not available back then). My main focus is something completely different, though.. So as long as libsvg-android works in my application I'm not pursuing it actively..
