Alright, just for simplicity, I pointed the client at http://www.amazon.com. I can see the DNS look-up request and reply messages, which is what I would consider the first part of the process. But then there is no subsequent post message. Looks like the client is failing, but partway through the process. It's definitely not something from the server. Now I'm really stuck. Failing client, no error messages, sniffer trace is fine except the client never does the post. Hmmm.
