A separate Linux process is created to run an application's components:
activities, services, broadcast receivers, content providers, etc. (?)

The lifetime of this process is managed by Android. Even after the user has
switched away from all activities in the application, the process is kept
around for a while. This is, I believe, to shorten startup time if the user
decided to return to the activity.

I think I understand how Android works, but that process list seems
confusing. Why is such a process, that's got no activity stack,
appearing in the list? Especially with the app name that was last
used?
