A separate Linux process is created to run an application's components: activities, services, broadcast receivers, content providers, etc. (?)
The lifetime of this process is managed by Android. Even after the user has switched away from all activities in the application, the process is kept around for a while. Why is such a process, that's got no activity stack, appearing in the list?
