Yeah, the first two levels makes sense, I was questioning the third, though
I guess my question did not make that clear. So keep the first two levels
with RBs then the third is just a list where they click the doc they want. I
mean, if they still have to long-press a button to open the selected item,
remembering the selection in the 3rd tab doesn't seem to offer much benefit
in my mind.

Personally, I would find the long click more annoying. If I'm trying to get
to my document quickly, it's much faster to click a button then to press and
hold something for 2 seconds each and every time. Plus I think this goes
along what most users are used to as far as "opening documents" is concerned
- normally you just click (or double click) something to see what you want.
And the long press is associated with the context menu, so it might be
confusing.

Indeed. I want to do something along these lines as well. "Tips" that are
shown once as the user navigates different parts of the app to help them
along, if they chose. Someday.
