Yes, you are right, it is from HTC Desire. First thought that Sense adds some kind of skin over the NumberPicker, but this seems not to be the case when I duplicated it... or perhaps I miss something, I am still newbie with Android. Well, I guess the general feeling is up to the user, I personally like Sense a lot. However, generic things like the NumberPicker should be public, imo.
