Ah thanks, I just checked the Android source and there is the
following function

public void setHasAlpha(boolean hasAlpha) {
    nativeSetHasAlpha(mNativeBitmap, hasAlpha);
}

But it is set to @hide so it is not in the docs, can we use this
function?
