Well, that's more of a automatic recurring payment model.
With the subscription model, you can sell 'subscriptions' to your content
feeds.  (days, months, etc.)
True, you have to present the user with a dialog when they wish to renew,
but it is supported to some degree and not against the TOS.
However, automatic recurring payments is something different and not allowed
because you would need to collect CC info yourself.
