As the person who accidentally started this whole issue, I would like to
formally apologize. In truth I was really hacked off with HTC yesterday
because they literally provide Zero developer support. I made my comment
quickly without thinking of the ramifications and consequences it would have
and it was out of line. After sending it I quickly sent another message to
try and ease the sharpness of it (obviously quite unsuccessfully).

I am truly grateful for Android and all the effort that goes on behind the
scenes to make it a successful platform. In many of the posts that Dianne
referred to about ridiculous demands I have actively stood on the side of
Google.

Sometimes, being on the outside, it is easy to remember that there is a lot
of effort going on that we can't see. And being human, what we can't see
often times doesn't exist (until it is pointed out again and again).

So, Dianne, and everyone else at Google (whether active contributors to this
group or not), thank you for your efforts in making Android a success.

Thanks,
Justin Anderson
