This is a bit different from ESRB though - this (I believe) is set by the developer and nobody really checks if the rating matches the product. I suspect this will be generally considered inadequate once the first bigger controversy comes up. Even ESRB is often criticised for not doing their job properly although they have testers who actually play the games. > As for it being required by Google - there is no official announcement is > there?
