Right, a file or directory won't be visible until seen by the Media Scanner. Starting with 4.0 (IIRC), this applies to all files, not just images, as before. > Anyway, to the point, so it could be that it seems the directory does not > exist, but actually it does. If you were checking the directory for existence from the computer, that could easily give a false negative.
