For some perspective: My native language is Russian, so by default I see (and am able to understand) Market comments in this language. A lot of apps use machine translation (perhaps Google Translate) for their Market descriptions and UI strings, and the comments from users are typically quite negative. Machine-translated app descriptions often read (to me) like some kind of drug induced avant-garde poetry. I'd consider just leaving English alone unless you can find native speakers to do the translation for you. These can be professional services or users whom you give a free version of your paid app in return (this does happen).
