I'm posting this in part because I received a very bizarre review of my own
app earlier today, and in part because of the odd reviews I've seen at the
top of other apps' review lists. One of the Google help sites said that my
only recourse is to flag it as spam (the review in question is actually a
mix of spam and blatant lies). However, I have no confidence in Google's
ability to remove spam reviews, mainly because of the spam reviews I've
seen on other apps. Currently, the #1 review on Aquarium Free Live
Wallpaper is some nonsense about Barack Obama recommending singers. That's
been up there for months. When I saw it, I tried to do my part by flagging
it as spam, but it hasn't been taken down.
