** Feedback: I have always been underwhelmed by existing task management apps and always wanted to have something on my phone that met all my requirements - nothing was quite what I wanted. When I purchased a G1 in April I tried a few of the existing task management apps but again - there was always something that I didn't quite like. I was reading 'Getting Things Done' at the time so eventually I decided to take the plunge and develop my own app for Android! For the past 5 months I have been slogging my guts out, working for about 6-7 hours each day (in my spare time) trying to get OpenLoopz finished in time for ADC2! Luckily, I had plenty of time to get my app complete so the pressure was off, but all that meant was that I kept adding features and introducing bugs! About a week before the competition opened I was still fixing bugs and there were still a few after release even! Luckily, I submitted to the ADC2 early so I had a week to test the app and receive feedback which was really good - I updated the app several times before the deadline! ** About the app: Most todo/task management apps display a big long list of items and the user is expected to filter and configure the list to show what they want to see. OpenLoopz is different. The main screen in OpenLoopz only shows you what you need to know about now. If you are in your local store, then all your shopping actions appear. If you are at work and on your lunch break, then your @lunch actions appear between 12PM-1PM while you are on your lunch break. There is a lot more to OpenLoopz than that but it's the basic idea.
