I wrote Green Driving Gauge. It provides feedback for how fuel efficient your driving is in order to help you improve. Saving gas not only saves money for you personally, it creates less pollution, and uses less of the planet's resources.
In GPS mode it tracks acceleration rate, breaking frequency, and speed. Large colorful gauges fill up with flowers the better you do. Soothing reminder sounds like streams and wind play if you aren't doing so well. Screenshot: http://nanek.name/images/green_driving_gauge_screenshot.png ADC2 was fun and educational, I guess. My ADC1 entry was a multiplayer GPS war game with neon green spinning skull progress indicators, and animated flames and stick figures running around on a map. I was aiming for something more pleasant and appealing this year. I feel like I expanded my range a little bit, at least. Given the advice I see in the group, maybe I'll take a crack at simplifying the UI next version.
