Ooops... I am late, probably too late. Anyway, I’d like to talk about Seawasp, my ADC2 contribution. It’s an old-school action/arcade game. One of the main goals was to create a fun arcade atmosphere and gameplay, like the atmosphere and gameplay from the old commodore c64/amiga games. I leave it to you to judge how well we've met our goal, but let me just tell you that both, Ursula Schwab (GFX) and Chris Huelsbeck (Sound and SFX) are not just professional and famous artists, they are also highly skilled and fun to work with! It's just the programmer (well, that's me) who marches to a different drum, but I bet most people will never notice that Seawasp was developed by a waiter who stumbled about the android SDK by luck. :) But back to Seawasp, it took 4 months to develop it plus two additional weeks of vacation from my regular job, which also supplied the capital to hire a professional team. Seawasp was contributed to ADC2 just by luck, because it fitted into the time frame. There are countless hours of work, a few thousand dollars and many sleepless nights in Seawasp. I really hope you like it! Thanks for your time, Michael.
By the way, take a look at www.honeymilklabs.com for more details about Seawasp. --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Android Developers" group.
