This specific response was @Teo who stated he would have bought a phone save
for the fact that he was expecting the free one - so I gave him a pretty
obvious alternative.

As far as the lack of communication is concerned - is anyone really
surprised by this? This is Google. Ignoring their customers is pretty much
what they do (after Search, of course). I understand that being promised
something and not have it show up after so much time is frustrating but
continuing to bitch, moan, and rant in this thread is completely pointless.

No one from Google is going to respond to you.
Your phone is not going to come any faster if you confirm that it still has
not arrived.
Others' phones are not going to come any faster if you confirm that yours
DID finally arrive.
Even if the phone never comes, you didn't pay for it so you haven't lost
anything.

So again - if you're still waiting - my best advice: FORGET ABOUT IT. Assume
it's not coming, move on with your life and project, and stop stressing
yourself over it. If it never shows, oh well, you're no worse off than
before this giveaway was announced. If it shows up, bonus.
