I can see what your saying, it's a free device... however, if they are going to successfully run a program in the US and promise to deliver the same scheme in other countries I expect that a company with the resources of Google to be able to put it off.
The other thing I find interesting is a few UK developers had phones within the time scale, I can only assume these people qualified under the ADC2 Top100 grouping and those who are qualifying under the 3.5* grouping have missed out. It would be nice if someone could officially tell us what is going on, even if it's just a post on here.
