If either of those happen I think there'll be a lot of people complaining bitterly about the quality "1.0" emulator.

Yes I know the 1.0 emulator doesn't allow downloading & installation of non-marketplace apps, so it ain't great, but an app that wouldn't install at all or crashes at startup is far bigger gap between emulator and real device than a missing feature or two.
