Hey Steve... And YES!! Me to. I thought I was going craZy. Surly I'm doing something wrong - NOT. It worked at first and I didn't pay it much attention... but eventually the silence was deafening. I've tried to "toggle" the settings back and forth (ala' Win Doze mentality) without luck. I have the latest RC30 OTA updates... I've got two important POP accounts and keep getting caught with my pantZ down (I apologize for the visua). There is no sound alert and worst of all.. not even the micro-tiny notice in the top bar. I've search Google and do get some hits.. but we seem to be a minority. My worry is that it may be one of the apps that were installed.. that it somehow hosed this one small thing. Of course one way to "test" is to do a MASTER REST back to FACTORY. I'll have to think about the ramifications... first.. Which reminds me now. No backup utility? At least I don't think so. But misery loves company. Sorry. I have no answers. Just confirmation that you're not going craZy either! Cheers. (will most likely WIPE and see what happens. Then report back)
