I wish I'd gotten mine on a 1-year contract, but I couldn't resist doing the pre-order, and if you did it that way, there was no way to get anything but a 2-year contract. If I were considering getting a G1 now, I would assuredly be getting a 1 year contract, as I've done with every phone prior.
