@Eric - one of the reasons given by Kogan for the price increase was
R&D cost blow out.  Probably when he announced the $199 price he
hadn't looked into some of these issues that had to be fixed with
software.  For example - the not installing apps to the SD card issue
can easily be fixed, it just can't be fixed in a way that satisfies
Google from a security and/or user experience perspective.  Maybe
Kogan doesn't have these qualms.

Personally I think you are underestimating the ingenuity of Chinese
developers.  I'm remaining optimistic about the Agora but understand
where you are coming from.
