I am hoping it will be easy to flash.  However, I wouldn't make any
assumptions.  It is being sold as a phone, not a development tool.
For example, they don't offer the possibility to reflash or modify the
firmware of the GPS devices that they sell.  If this is important to
you I'd hold off buying one.  As soon as I get mine I'll be trying to
load a custom Android image and I'll report back how I get on.
