The subject of this discussion is self-explanatory. Whenever I am in
an application (it happens 8 out of 10 times and usually with
"heavier" applications) and I press the Home button, the phone shows
the home screen background and the drawer "handle", but no icons.
This lasts about 10 seconds, during which the drawer can't be opened
either or if you manage to open it, it is empty as well.

Here is a video to illustrate what I mean. Please excuse the
landscape orientation.

You can imagine how frustrating this is. Whenever I am using an app
(browser, for example) and need to go to the home screen so that I can
select my Contacts to call someone, I better not have a real
emergency, cause I will be sitting there for a while.

Someone in another forum said this was a known memory problem,
confirmed by Google. Is this true? And if so, it a fix planned?

Thank you.
