I'm not saying I was too terribly smart about that. It's just that the
labels are a misleading to me as a Linux user. "Open Source" and
"Linux Kernel" to me means "I rule this device." Of course I was wrong
and should have done my homework before buying.

That said, I think Google should stand up for its reputation as a
"good company" and convince T-Mobile that everyone should be able to
decide for himself that he wants to become an Android Kernel Deveolper
today. Shouldn't be that hard, should it?
