Still amazed how the iphone achieved such success. Know what you mean about it feeling right and I tend to agree since user interface designers had their say. I'd say it wasn't a priority for the Android team to focus on such user interactivity designs. But at the same time these people missed out on a lot of functionalities that I amazed apple team involved with phones OS features have yet still to address. So my feeling about the success of the iphone is purely based on being a nice looking device with a cool UI & generally such users prefer looks rather than features. For me it had nothing to offer as a 'true phone' and gifted it almost straight away.
The more apps we see for Android with focus on design by utilizing the full capabilities of the device, don't think that Android developers should ever need to worry about not making money developing for the Android OS. My suggestion, if you're developing an app to make money, try to improve subsequent versions by working with a designer, this way the quality of apps we will eventually see will be equal or better to what is available in Apple's marketplace. Sometimes I wonder where all the GL OHA partners such as TAT come into all this and what contribution they will offer to the Android community? Anyone care to answer from Google or from TAT?
