Ooooooooooooops. My bad. This scenario is why I advise my students to come up with totally boffo names for their apps, so we can tell 'em apart... ;-) I haven't experienced pages continuing to run in the background. In fact, I've definitely run into places where, clearly, the pages were *not* running in the background, despite having active Javascript that should run indefinitely.
