Damn, I just noticed the same thing. Got an email from them thinking that it had come from the mailing list but it was a direct email.
I responded thinking that I was mailing everybody but it was only nancy. Anyway, stinks like a scam or ripoff. I don't think they've made a sreious case of how is going to help me, the developer. Instead of a simbiotic relationship all I see is a parasitic relationship. People will download my app if it is great not because of them. They just want to take advantage of great apps without providing any true benefit to the developer. Bunch of retards.
