No problem about the comment, I can see how this program may sound too
good to be true.

The benefit to the Android end user is certainly more direct, but it
definitely benefit the developers who join. The developer benefit is
less direct, so let me explain in more detail:

If you agree that what we offer is beneficial to Android users, then
you will agree that a number of Android users will sign up (hopefully
a large percentage of the growing Android user base). For these users
who sign up for these reward programs, they are motivated to do things
that will earn them more points and therefore more prizes. So, they
will actively seek out other applications they can try in the Mogees
Developer Network.

Going back to the OpenTable example, I am a member and I participate
in their rewards program. Now whenever I have to make a reservation at
a restaurant, I look on OpenTable first - because if I can find
something there I like, I earn points which I can redeem for vouchers.
Similarly, Android users participating in the Mogees Reward Points
program will actively seek other other applications that are part of
the Mogees Reward Network, so they can earn more points. For example,
if they decide they want to try a new game they haven't tried before,
they will likely search for the keyword "Mogees" from Android Market,
which will return a list of all apps part of the Mogees Developer
Network (which have in their app description that says the app is part
of the Mogees Reward Network). Basically, more users will see and try
out your app if you are part of the Mogees Developer Network, because
they get rewarded for it. It won't help you if your app is horrible
and has a zero star rating, but will certainly help if your app is a
good app.
