In my experience, most returns happen fairly quick (with in first 5-10 minutes). For my apps, I had just 2-3 cancellations after 2 hours out of > 200 sales. 24-hour period seems more like peace of mind for buyers: even if they think they will return the app in 24 hours, they dont actually do so.
Would be great to see some stats from others: what percentage of transactions do you see refunded after 2 hours?
