Sorry Ed, I'm not going to hand it out to anyone else outside of Google. I handed it to Sean & Incognito so they could offer independent verification of it, but beyond that I have no wish to circulate details of a piracy site.

Hi Al, I would like the link as well. My take on the piracy issue is probably somewhat uninformed, but I'll venture two points: 1. I am surprised that people would go through the trouble of pirating a $.99 app, or even a $5.99 app. My guess is that these are younger folks that think it is cool to pirate software at any price point. These "KOOL HACKERZ" are not good target markets, but it is important to note that they exist on every platform (computers and phones, iPhone included) anyway. 2. Given that piracy is common to every platform, it is not that useful to focus on Android's piracy problems without considering the larger context. That is, if the standard percentage of pirated apps for a given platform is 30% (for example), you would have to expect the same percentage in the Android Market as well. I would be concerned if someone could show that piracy is much more rampant for Android than other platforms. Given the wealth of pirated games and apps available for all the other phones, I'm not sure this is the case. --Ed On Apr 1, 9:41 am, Incognito <[email protected]> wrote: > Checked the link and it looks bad.
