Can you rationalize that concern on why you would not enter CC details via the handset? How is entering them in a browser more secure than entering through the phone? A browser is probably more likely to be compromised than the native Android market application. Moreover, some browsers "remember" entries on poorly designed forms that various Web-sites put up.
