Google are also releasing closed-source apps like Scoreboard that
directly competes with a lot of other sports apps. Scoreboard makes
use of data that has to cost Google a lot of money but they still
offer it for free. How are people going to compete with that? And why
does Google have to provide a scoreboard app for the Android? I am
pretty sure Sportacular (iPhone app) and other similar apps would
appear on the Android if the Scoreboard wasn't available for free from
Google. If all Google employees start to make a habit of making free
Android apps to compete with existing paid apps then there will be a
lot of angry developers out there...
