An ethical, and likely LEGAL way to do something along the lines of
what this discussion is suggesting would be an app that randomly loads
a link from among a site's advertisements. That is to say, a user
would not be selecting any advertisement individually, but would still
be actually "clicking" and going through to the linked advertised
site. Personally I think that may be something worth looking into and
possibly developed. There would need to be limits, of course, such as
allowing only one click every 30 seconds or something, but it would be
an interesting way to support a site. The end result would be
something like "I would like to support this site by clicking on the
ads they have set up. I don't care which ad, really, just give me a
random one and I'll click on it. Who knows, maybe it will be something
I'm interested in but never thought to check it out." Any thoughts?
