Does anyone here have any actual information (not just speculation)
about whether the Market comment system will ever be improved, or
whether it is relatively "done"? I am sensitive to the face that it
is a somewhat nascent project, but it suffers from a few relatively
serious problems. I would suggest:

1 -- The ability of developers to offer a brief response to every
single comment, so that false, erroneous, or out-of-date comments can
be noted.

2 -- The ability of developers to respond (in a fashion similar to
point one) to comments in paid apps, which currently cannot be done
because only paid users can comment on paid apps and developers are
not paid users of their own apps.

3 -- Version-tagging on comments, so readers know which version a
comment refers to (helps to alleviate comments that refer to bugs/
problems in out-of-date versions which no longer exist in the current
version).

4 -- Not a comment problem but a description problem: An extension of
the maximum length of app description beyond the current 325 char
limit. Maybe 500? Maybe 1000? Not necessarily a lot, but more than
is currently available. This problem is somewhat mitigate by point
one since point one would save the developer from using description
space to correct erroneous comments.

Is anyone at Google receiving these kinds of messages? I would really
like to know that Google is taking these kinds of concerns seriously.
Can I get a ping back from any Google employees who are actually
reading this so I know it has been received?

Thank you.
