Hello Sean,

If I compare with the iPhone App Store, long app descriptions are not
an issue. It is really always useful to get detailed information
especially for paid apps.

I fully agree that the Android Market is missing a screen shot
section. Not having it for free apps is not a big issue because people
can just download the app and see it suits their needs. This is quite
another story for paid apps...

Concerning the comment response, I would reorganize the comments to be
threaded so that everybody (not only the developer) could post
responses. It could be based on the Google Groups techno stack btw....

Then, I still think that it is completely heretic to think that having
the Android Market just accessible thru the Market Application on the
phone is the only way to go. A lot of people wants to be able to
search, see descriptions / screenshots and also send the applications
to the phone thru their desktop browser: I am quite fed up to install
one by one on the phone all the app that I have interest into. I am
not even speaking about searching app thru the Android Market App
which is a very painful experience...

Then, if you have the feature "send an app to the phone thru my
browser", you are not far away to the "backup feature" which is
cruelly missing right now. You could imagine that Google is just
keeping track of your apps for you and can push them again to your
phone if you need to.

Can we have some feedback about this from any Google person ?

Fabrice
