Can you paste the relevant bits from my original post claiming that OSX is the "one true way"? Yes, *all* free software is bad. Absolutely *all*. I'm yet to see one free software that I don't think it sucks one way or another. Have you? My post was about "freedom" and "being locked" to a vendor and my point was that I'd rather be "locked" to a vendor (no matter if it's Microsoft, Apple or Google), pay for the software and get support, new versions and upgrades, rather than "enjoying" the "freedom" and getting something like the "embrace, extend, extinguish" bullshit which in OSS world translates to something like "innovate, create, move to next cool thing, forget".
