I'd like to express my displeasure that Android's latest update (which I didn't bother getting until T-Mobile sent it out) took away applications' ability to turn on and off Location settings.
I had been using a PAID app called Power Manager to automatically turn on and off GPS locations when I plugged my phone into my car charger. Useful for obvious reasons. Were it a privacy concern, Android could simply display it as a permission when an app is installed. Instead the feature is gone entirely. Not happy about this at all. I feel like Google hijacked my phone and took away some of its functionality. What gives? --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Android Discuss" group.
