Johannes, have you tried the long press? I have no idea about Swedish, but I type German extended characters frequently and can do that by pressing and holding the corresponding non-extended key... So I long press s for ß and u for ü etc. Was that what you meant?

This takes a lot of time and we Swedish people use a lot of special characters in our language. Why not map each special character to a key on the keyboard. Like this: hold "a" to get the list of special characters that's under "a", same as before. But now the letters are labeled 1,2,3,4,5... or a,s,d,f,g... and all i have to do is press the key that responds to the wanted character and i dont have to change position av my hand and move my fingers away from the keyboard. --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Android Discuss" group.
