Trivial, really?
I don't know how to do that...

I just googled it to see how you can do it and it requires too many
steps. I can't imagine doing this on my phone.

It is a huge barrier to many users.

Users already need to create a Google Check-out account and forcing
many of them to apply for (pre-paid) credit cards is not gonna
happen... at least not for many of them.

More payment options in Google Checkout are necessary; Debit cards,
pay-pal, etc. Whatever makes most sense in the particular country in
which the customer is living.
