I didn't get a definitive response last time I posted this question (there were a lot of "I'm pretty sure"s and some arguments between posters), and bumping topics doesn't really work on these boards, so I'll ask again.
Let's say I get a T-Mobile G1 used off eBay (so assume it could have any version of Android ever officially put on G1s). Will I be able to test my apps on it WITHOUT: -Loading a leaked or otherwise illegal OS -Buying any sort of voice plan whatsoever* -Buying any sort of data plan whatsoever* The asterisks are there because if there was some sort of one-time purchase under $50 I could make (prepaid SIM or whatever) and then be able to use the phone for testing all I wanted after that without ever paying again, that would be perfectly acceptable. Definitive responses would be very much appreciated. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Android Discuss" group.
