North America-only WAAS has been the only show in town for long so it'll take some time until this trickles down to handsets. EGNOS is apparently online for a few months now so that should help. Most use cases will be fine with regular GPS anyhow. It's not like you'll want to steer a tractor or track container handling equipment with yer ole cell phone like it's done with pro equipment.
