Once you get over your pique, think of this as a marketing opportunity. Make it very clear in the description of both what the free and paid versions do and don't do. "Free version, not time limited, fully functional except for X which is available in the pro version"
Most people will dismiss the comment pretty quickly. They are more interested it figuring out quickly what your app actually does and if it is stable.
