Hi Abdul, Just to clarify, I'm no longer with SlideME. I don't have a problem with the general approach of alternative markets, where they increase distribution and users, which in turn increases sales and downloads. I know there are some additional value-adds like AndAppStore's licensing system, which can reduce piracy. There is certainly a need for these types of markets. As long as everyone can make money, that's fine.
My approach is very targeted toward how to increase sales by doing things smarter, not by expanding distribution. For example, I'd expect that developers on ZappMarket will already have a strong user base and users will continue to purchase on the Android Market, as this has the highest visibility. But the developer can migrate the user over to ZappMarket to improve the experience. So you see, going out and trying to get ZappMarket on every device is not the point. The point is to take existing user bases (even from other markets) and make them stronger. 10 vocal users is worth more than 1000 silent ones. Of course, I do expect their will be new users coming to ZappMarket because they find ZappMarket compelling. You can really think of it as a service, not an alternative market.
